Dynamics 365 Finance - End of support for revenue recognition

The revenue recognition feature in Dynamics 365 Finance was deprecated with the 10.0.32 release. As part of the 10.0.36 release in September 2023, the revenue recognition feature will no longer be available in Dynamics 365 Finance. 

We are making this change to provide support for additional document types and calculation methods that are not supported in the deprecated revenue recognition module.

How does this affect me?
We identified through telemetry that the revenue recognition feature is enabled for your Dynamics 365 Finance instance and will be affected by this deprecation.

What action do I need to take?
Please utilize the replacement functionality for core revenue recognition scenarios available in the revenue and expense deferrals feature, which is part of subscription billing. Users of the revenue recognition functionality for the bundle feature will have a replacement feature, called “product bundle,” which will be a separate feature available in 10.0.36.
